Alpha Astika Akinita S.A., a Subsidiary of the Alpha Bank Group that provides end-to-end services across all stages of the life cycle of real estate assets, wishes to hire a Property Valuer. The Property Valuer will be an integral part of the Portfolio Advisory team that provides real estate valuation and consulting services across all types of assets and participates in some of the largest real estate projects in the Greek market. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in valuation techniques as well as strong quantitative and financial modeling skills. Furthermore, he/she should be methodical, self-disciplined and a team player, able to share knowledge and deliver quality results.

What you will be doing

  • Conduct and review property valuations.
  • Prepare and authorize budgets as well as monitor the progress of works in properties.
  • Participate in οn-site visits to completed and under construction properties.
  • Prepare presentations given to the Management or to the Customers of the Company and participate therein.
  • Comply with all internal regulations as well as with the regulations and the Valuer’s code of conduct as set out in the European Valuation Standards (EVS) and the International Valuation Standards (IVS). 

What you need to have 

  • A Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or in any other related discipline.
  • At least five (5) years of professional experience in relevant positions, preferably in a real estate firm or an audit/consulting firm.
  • A professional qualification or a part qualification of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or the Association of Greek Valuers (AVAG), member of the European Group of Valuers’ Associations (TEGoVA). 
  • A Property Valuer certification from the Hellenic Ministry of Finance will be considered an asset.
  • A professional qualification or a part qualification as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) will be considered an asset.
  • Experience in the use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with research/database sources.
  • Sound commercial judgment.
  • Strong analytical, presentation and report-writing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in the Greek and in the English language.
  • Results-oriented mindset and ability to meet tight deadlines.
