Job position: Real Estate Certified Valuer 

The opportunity 

ORIZOR is seeking a Real Estate Certified Valuer by Ministry of Finance to join our Valuations advisory team. You will be part of a collaborative and dynamic team, gaining experience in the business of appraisal, appraisal review and overview for all property types. This is an exciting opportunity to get exposure to different asset types.

What you will do: 

  • Conduct appraisals. You will conduct valuation reports for all type of assets in accordance with the European Valuation Standards (EVS) or with the valuation standards of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). 
  • Complete appraisal reviews. You will review third-party appraisal reports as part of the valuation management process, utilizing factual and market assumptions, reviewing the appraisal reports, and comparing the valuation metrics to the benchmark data. You will use your best judgement and knowledge to determine the reasonableness of the valuation and ensure that the appraisal reports comply with certain regulations & methodologies. 
  • Overview of the process You will apply the administrative tasks that drive our client’s appraisal process and meet the SLA requirements and gain insights into the market analysis and valuation of client properties.

Our Real Estate Certified Valuer should have: 

  • The education and experience. You have a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil engineering, Real Estate, Finance, Economics or a related field, with proven field experience minimum of 3 years. You are a certified as a Real Estate Valuer by Ministry of Finance. Previous working experience with financial institutions would be considered as a plus. 
  • The technical skills. You have the business writing, research, quantitative and analytical skills to complete an end-to-end appraisals or review deliverables appraisal reports by third-parties. You will be registered in the Ministry of Finance relevant certification registry. 
  • The growth mindset. You can take the initiative and be resourceful, operating with a high degree of integrity, honesty, and ethics. You are a continuous learner motivated to gain knowledge. 
  • The interpersonal skills. You have effective and flexible communication skills, including the confidence to relay when you are behind on deliverables or require assistance. You are a strong collaborator, building trusting relationships and influencing others. You can translate technical information for a non-technical audience, and you are comfortable presenting to stakeholders at any level. 
  • The flexibility. You are available to work outside office environment and travel locally for inspections in your own vehicle, and it is safe to do so.
